Robin Hood Flour Mill

Robin Hood Multifoods is located on a CPR line, south of 33rd Street East and between 1st Avenue North and Idylwyld Drive. The mill, established in 1909, is Canada's second largest flour mill. Robin Hood Multifoods recently underwent an expansion, upgrading to the newest technology enabling the plant to increase production. At full capacity, the mill will be able to grind 215,000 tonnes of wheat per year. The plant supples flour and bakery products across Canada, and exports to the United States, Hong Kong and China. The plant, which employs 150 people, is owned by International Multifoods Inc. located in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
